Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had another impressive outing on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets. Antetokounmpo finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, leading to a 122-121 Bucks win.

Following the contest, the star forward achieved a notable milestone of being the lone player in the NBA with the most games with 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and at least five assists. His domination is evident in the 158 games in which he had that stat line.

He surpassed fellow Bucks greats, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson. Following the win, Antetokounmpo spoke about what he achieved during his postgame interview.

“It’s [an] incredible accomplishment, 158 games of 30-balls,” Antetokounmpo said. “It’s probably gonna be broken by somebody else. But [I’m] happy that I have it now.”

The Greek Freak said that he doesn’t just want to be in the league to play and leave when it’s over. According to Antetokounmpo, he wants to continue studying and improving his skills.

Antetokounmpo could be one of the best players to play for Milwaukee. He is a nine-time All-Star, a nine-time All-NBA, a two-time MVP and a one-time champion. These are just some of the awards he achieved throughout his time in the league.

But even though Antetokounmpo had a remarkable accomplishment, he didn’t keep the game ball. Instead, he gave it to his teammate, Ryan Rollins, who reached the 1,000-point mark against the Hornets. Rollins had 29 points and eight assists on 85.7% shooting from deep and 84.6% from the field against Charlotte.

“Coach Doc gave me the ball, but I thought that it’d be a nice gesture for Ryan to keep the ball… I think it just means a lot for him,” he added.

Antetokounmpo said that he believes others should also be rewarded for the milestones they reach.
