Arsenal have been warned by Chris Sutton that Saturday afternoon’s opponents Bournemouth are “dangerous”.
The Gunners are in a fantastic position as things stand. They are top of the Premier League table, clear by five points over Manchester City, who dropped points last time out. It was a statement win for Arsenal in their last game, as they managed to beat Aston Villa 4-1 at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta won’t be underestimating their next opponents however, as Bournemouth did the double over the Gunners last season. Furthermore, their star player Antoine Semenyo will be playing, as Andoni Iraola confirmed on Friday, despite the fact that he is in talks to join Manchester City.
Arsenal could be without Declan Rice too, as the midfielder is dealing with a minor injury that he picked up before the Villa game. So, it could be a very tough test, especially as it will be an away trip for Arsenal too.
Chris Sutton warns Arsenal about “dangerous” Bournemouth
Former Premier League forward Chris Sutton has said that the Gunners should be wary of the Cherries this weekend, as Iraola’s side managed to pose a real threat to Chelsea last weekend, when they drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Cherries have gone 10 games without a win, and so Arsenal will hope to pile the misery onto Iraola’s side even more. Sutton wrote in his weekly BBC Sport column: “Andoni Iraola’s side have gone 10 games without a win, but they have drawn four of their past five matches and they carried a real threat against the Blues.
“Their goals came from a couple of long throws but they did look dangerous in open play and, with the way Iraola plays, this is not going to be easy for Arsenal.
“To beat Villa was a huge result and their performance to go with it was Arsenal really flexing their muscles. It said to everyone “we are the team to beat” and you can’t back against them following it up by beating Bournemouth as well.”
Sutton predicts that Arsenal will win 2-1 on Saturday night, but it may not be a comfortable 90 minutes for Gunners fans.
