LeBron James is like no other.
But in one way on Friday night, he had a lot in common with fellow Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
James scored 31 points in the Lakers' win, which is a new record for a player of 41 years old.
Previously, Kareem held that mark with 25 points.

The crazy part is the synergy aligned exactly when they did it.
Abdul-Jabbar scored his 25 points at 41 years and 3 days old.
James scored his 31 points at 41 years and 3 days old.

That's definitely not the most likely thing to ever happen.
The amazing thing about LeBron, or one of them at least, is that no one would be surprised if he did this again, and again, and again.
Even as he has finally shown signs here and there of aging, James has also clearly been one-of-one as far as shining bright at his age in the NBA.
LeBron is like no other. Even in matching Kareem, sort of, he also outdid him by scoring more points.
It's just one more astounding moment in James' career full of them.
