Liverpool’s Tyler Morton sell-on clause
It was reported in November that the midfielder was attracting transfer interest ahead of the winter window opening.
At the time, Morton was viewed as an indispensable player for Lyon amid a potential move happening in 2026.

However, it has now emerged that Serie A powerhouse Juventus are eyeing up the former Liverpool man.
Tutto Juve claim that some English clubs are following the midfielder, but the Italian outfit are also looking at the player.
Crucially, they add that the Reds have a sell-on clause, believed to be 20%, so would benefit from any deal that could take place this month.
The player is given a valuation of €18m (around £15m), so Liverpool would earn somewhere in the region of £3m if he went for that fee.

Xabi Alonso wanted Tyler Morton
The 23-year-old has made 21 appearances for Lyon this term, scoring one and assisting three.
But for whatever reason, he just couldn’t get into the team under Slot.
He did not feature in the Premier League last term and was limited to a handful of appearances in cup competitions.
Xabi Alonso rated Morton highly and tried to sign him when he was in charge of Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool turned down an approach at the time, but Slot then decided not to hand him any sort of regular football.
