SAN FRANCISCO — The Utah Jazz couldn’t keep up with Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, falling 123-114 at the Chase Center on Saturday.
Curry finished with 31 points, 22 of which came in the second half. Lauri Markkanen led the way for Utah with 35 and Keyonte George trailed him with 22 points and nine assists.
The loss extends the Jazz’s streak to three, and they sit at 0-2 in the new year.
Utah will play two more games on the road before returning to Salt Lake City on January 8.

It’s gotten to the point now with Keyonte George that if you give him any space on a jumper it’s going in.
Walking into a wide open three like that was obvious, but even when a defender goes under a screen, it’s a no-doubter.

There has been a serious mindset switch from Cody Williams, and it’s been awesome to see.
He just dunked all over Quinten Post with the left hand.

Been fun to see Cody Williams playing with some more confidence.
There’s something there.

A bit of a clunky first half for the @utahjazz, who give up a late three to Steph Curry, but they lead the @warriors 65-58 at the break.
Lauri Markkanen has 21 points to lead all scorers.

In the past, that would’ve been a three-pointer and likely a miss for Cody Williams.
Instead, he catches, gives a head fake, and makes the downhill layup through contact.

Utah shot 66.7% from the floor and 57.1% from three in the 3Q.
But seven turnovers, and 11 Golden State points off of them, allowed the Dubs to win the quarter by 11.
