Anthony Edwards is one of the NBA’s brightest young stars. Many expect the Minnesota Timberwolves man to blossom into the face of the league. While he hasn’t quite taken that step into the upper echelon of superstars yet, Edwards continues to break records.
One of the most impressive things about Ant in his young career so far is the improvement in his shooting. The 24-year-old has become an excellent three-point shooter after coming into the league being quite average. And now Edwards has achieved something no other player has managed before him.

Edwards made two three-pointers in a win against the Miami Heat on Saturday. In the process, he reached the 1,200 mark for made threes. This makes him the only player under 25 years of age to reach that milestone. It’s a testament to how good Ant-Man’s shooting is.
To contextualize this record, Edwards came into the league shooting just about 33 percent. He improved to a little over 35 percent by his fourth season, not too impressive. However, last year, Edwards shot 40 percent while attempting over 10 three-pointers a game. He’s continuing that kind of form this year as well.

As he continues to improve, Edwards will break more NBA records. It’s merely a matter of time; he has proved time and again that he is the truth. For Timberwolves fans, the key is in realizing that he isn’t even 25 years old yet; they will get to watch him perform for years to come.
