Liverpool are expected to be without six players for their Premier League clash with Fulham on Sunday, but should be boosted by the return of Joe Gomez.
Liverpool’s injury situation is, as it stands, easing, though Arne Slot is aware his side are now in one of their busiest periods of the season with key names still out.
That includes Mohamed Salah, whose absence at the Africa Cup of Nations was extended with Egypt finishing top of Group B to set up a last-16 clash with Benin on Monday.
Liverpool injuries and absentees list
Liverpool are however aided by Gomez‘s return to availability, with the versatile defender having been slated to rejoin training on Friday.

If fit, as is likely, the 28-year-old will take a place on the bench at Craven Cottage at the expense of either Calvin Ramsay or Wellity Lucky.
There are unlikely to be any issues with Florian Wirtz either, despite Slot revealing after the 0-0 draw with Leeds on New Year’s Day that his workload had been managed due to hamstring tightness.
The Reds are still without long-term absentees Alexander Isak, Giovanni Leoni, Stefan Bajcetic and Jayden Danns, while Wataru Endo remains out with an ankle problem.

One positive comes with Ibrahima Konate avoiding a booking against Leeds and therefore removing the risk of a one-match suspension.
After reaching the halfway point in the Premier League campaign players are no longer subject to a ban for accruing five yellow cards – Konate had been on four ahead of the draw at Anfield on January 1.
Slot could make changes to his side from the stalemate against Leeds, with Milos Kerkez, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo among those in consideration.
With only three days since their last game and another to come away to Arsenal on Thursday night, rotation will be required despite the absence of Salah, Isak and others.
