Virgil van Dijk out to continue incredible 2025/26 record vs. Fulham

Liverpool are due a clean sheet when they head to Fulham this weekend, as Virgil van Dijk looks to keep up an incredible run.

The Reds take on the Cottagers on Sunday afternoon, looking to make it nine matches unbeaten.

A response is required after the goalless draw at home to Leeds, though, with Van Dijk as important as ever leading the troops.

The Dutchman is the only Liverpool player who has been on the pitch for every minute in the Premier League this season.

For the champions’ sake, they will hope that remains the case when the final whistle blows at Craven Cottage.

More goals on the road for the Reds?

Liverpool have failed to score in only one of their last 30 away Premier League games – at Man City back in November.

The Reds have won four of their nine away games in the league this season, drawing one and losing four.

The four losses are more than they suffered in either of the previous two complete seasons.

Liverpool could record a win in London for the third time this season, having won on their previous two visits to the capital, at West Ham (2-0) in November and 2-1 at Tottenham just before Christmas.

Liverpool have not kept a clean sheet in last 10 league visits to Fulham, with the last coming in April 2009 when Yossi Benayoun scored a 92nd-minute winner.

In the last nine league encounters home and away, the Reds have kept one clean sheet, coming in a 1-0 Anfield triumph in May 2023.

Not since April 1963 has there been a goalless draw at Craven Cottage.

Harry Wilson’s first win vs. Liverpool?

Harry Wilson has played six times against his former club, losing four and drawing twice.

His only goal came at Anfield in December 2023.

Wilson made two appearances for the Reds during his time at Anfield between 2017 and 2020, one in the League Cup and the other in the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, since recording their only league double over Liverpool in 2011/12, Fulham have won two of the 14 league encounters played.
