Fulham vs Liverpool kick-off delay explained.
Liverpool’s match against Fulham at Craven Cottage has been delayed.
Kick-off has been pushed by 15 minutes from 15.00 GMT to 15.15 GMT. This is due to a medical emergency at the ground. The announcement inside the stadium was made after both teams had completed their warm-ups and went inside to change ahead of the Premier League fixture.
Liverpool’s starting XI returned to the pitch to continue to stay warm rather than wait in the changing room. Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez were in full kits without a training top. The substitutes remained in the dressing room, Fulham’s players then reappeared to stay loose.
Liverpool go in pursuit of their first victory of 2026 after being held to a 0-0 draw against Leeds United on New Year’s Day. The Reds are without key striker Hugo Ekitike, who has a minor hamstring issue and has not been included in Arne Slot’s squad.
