Manchester United moved into fifth, at least temporarily, after their 1-1 draw with Leeds United. Matheus Cunha salvaged a point for Ruben Amorim's side as he cancelled out Brendan Aaronson's second-half opener.

Joshua Zirkzee combined with the Brazilian with his first touch as the point at Elland Road was enough to see United leapfrog Chelsea to within two points off Liverpool, in the final Champions League place. It's back-to-back draws for United after their 1-1 draw with Wolves.

It was a cagey encounter in West Yorkshire but it was the visitors who struck first through the former Wolves striker, Cunha, however he saw his effort chalked off for offside. At the other end, Leeds' Dominic Calvert-Lewin had the best opportunity when his diving header strike the post.

United could fall five points off the top four if Liverpool win at Craven Cottage and they could see their time in fifth-place be shortlived if managerless Chelsea beat Manchester City in the North West on Sunday evening.

Amorim's side are back on the road on Wednesday when they travel to Burnley before returning home against Brighton on Sunday in the FA Cup.
