Liverpool put in yet another underwhelming performance that will really start to mount pressure onto Arne Slot.
The Reds might be unbeaten in their last nine games, but they are still yet to put in a convincing performance.

After drawing 0-0 with Leeds in their first game of 2026, Liverpool followed it up with another draw with Fulham, with the game having a very dramatic end after two late goals.
It really was another lacklustre outing where players simply did not flex their muscles, and questions might be being asked of Slot once again. Here are how the players rated.
Defence
Alisson Becker: 6 – Nothing he could have done about either of the goals and had almost nothing to do throughout the game.
Conor Bradley: 6 – Defensive positioning was questioned at points, mainly as he was not there for Wilson’s goal, but he did really well to drive forward and set up Liverpool’s goal. Robinson didn’t make it easier, though, and test him at both ends of the pitch, but he stuck at it well.
Ibrahima Konate: 6 – Also at fault for Wilson’s goal after not coming across to block the run, with it being quite lazy defending from the Frenchman. Allowed lots of the ball and looked fairly solid, especially in the air, with this by no means a bad game for the defender.

MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
Virgil van Dijk: 6 – Only just played Wilson onside for Fulham’s goal but made some important interceptions. Looked comfortable on the ball, as always, and protected Alisson well.
Milos Kerkez: 5 – Didn’t have a lot to do defensively, but did not do a lot in the final third either. His deliveries were fairly poor too, but he did OK.
Midfield
Ryan Gravenberch: 5 – Failed to cover and track Wilson’s run for the goal, making him the third person who could have stopped the goal. Some of his passes were poor too and just didn’t have his usual swagger. One of his poorer games in a long while.
Curtis Jones: 6 – Was one of the only ones trying to play riskier balls through in the hope of a reward and should have had an assist but Gakpo scuffed his effort. A bit quieter in the second half but probably the better of the diamond.

Alexis Mac Allister: 5 – Still lacks legs like always but kept the ball well. Was a little too safe on occasions and should have tried to play forward, but he wasn’t the only midfielder who struggled so can’t single him out.
Attack
Dominik Szoboszlai: 5 – Could not impact the game like he usually does and was caught out defensively at times. An off-day for the Hungarian, something that cannot be said very often at all.
Cody Gakpo: 6 – Scuffed his one-on-one which looked like a sitter and was also sloppy on the ball at times. Did get what looked to be the winner, but Reed scored a screamer to snatch a point at the death. Need Hugo Ekitike back.
Florian Wirtz: 6 – Didn’t look 100% fit so quite harsh to be too critical, but despite taking his goal really well, he did not offer too much else. Didn’t show enough quality on the ball or creativity, with most of his play feeling too safe, but still put in a good-enough shift.

Substitutes
Jeremie Frimpong: 6 – Was brought on to add pace and energy, and set up Gakpo’s goal well.
Federico Chiesa: N/A
