Liverpool endured another frustrating afternoon as a dramatic finale resulted in a 2-2 Premier League draw against Fulham on Sunday.

Cody Gakpo thought he had clinched an injury-time victory after Florian Wirtz had earlier levelled Harry Wilson's first-half opener at Craven Cottage, but Fulham substitute Harrison Reed scored a stunning goal in the seventh minute of added time.

The outcome means Arne Slot's team have now drawn four of their last seven and remain fourth in the race for a Champions League spot - despite extending their unbeaten run to nine games. And here, Daily Star Sport has assessed the performance of the Liverpool players against Fulham.

Cody Gakpo of Liverpool celebrates after scoring a goal to make it 1-2 during the Premier League match between Fulham and Liverpool at Craven Cottage on January 04, 2026 in London, England.

Alisson Becker, 6 - His only action in the first half was to retrieve the ball from the net after former teammate Wilson scored. He later denied Jimenez, with Wilson hitting the bar from the rebound, reports the Liverpool Echo. He had no chance with Fulham's second goal.

Conor Bradley, 7 - His defensive positioning wasn't always perfect in the first half, but he managed to get more out of Robinson after the break. His strong run led to the equaliser.

Ibrahima Konate, 7 - Fulham allowed him plenty of possession and he looked to play balls down the inside right channel. He defended strongly against the robust Jimenez.

Virgil van Dijk, 6 - He played Wilson marginally onside for the opener but made some useful interventions afterwards. However, his clearance after Wilson hit the bar was strange, and he didn't close down Reed for the second goal.

Milos Kerkez, 6 - A tad too predictable with his final third deliveries, but showed good energy levels and commitment. A solid defensive performance.

Ryan Gravenberch, 6 - His passing was a bit loose before the interval and he failed to track Wilson for the opener, but he showed significant improvement in the second half.

Alexis Mac Allister, 6 - Playing at the base of midfield, he played it safe when he had plenty of possession in the opening quarter and only really got going in spells. He was unlucky with a header that hit the bar.

Dominik Szoboszlai, 6 - He struggled to make an impact on the right flank before the break and was often caught out of position defensively, but he improved in the second half. Ended the game playing centrally.

Florian Wirtz, 7 - He was largely absent in the first half but created a chance for Jones, and his performance improved along with Liverpool's. He took his goal well. Subbed off.

Curtis Jones, 7 - His close-range flick was blocked and he set up Gakpo for a chance, providing a spark throughout the game. A decent performance. Subbed off.

Cody Gakpo, 8 - He mishit a shot when sent clear early on but provided a focal point for the attack and grew into the game. He came close with two second-half efforts before moving to the left wing for the closing moments, where he bundled in the second goal. Booked and subbed off.
