Arne Slot’s reaction to Liverpool’s draw with Fulham
Jamie Carragher called Liverpool boring versus Fulham, and it was hard to argue with the ex-centre-back.
They did improve in the early stages of the second half, but that wasn’t hard given how abject the first 45 was.
Liverpool thought they had won the tie when Cody Gakpo scored a late goal and wheeled away to take his shirt off in celebration.

However, a wonder-strike from Harrison Reed put Fulham back on level terms, which, on balance, was probably a fair result.
But it may have felt like a gut-punch to Slot, who was showing his frustration right after the game.
As per Sky Sports: “Liverpool boss Arne Slot was shaking his head as he went over to thank the travelling fans. He will be wondering how on earth his side didn’t see that out.”

Can Arne Slot fix Liverpool?
Liverpool have now drawn four of their last seven Premier League matches, a run that simply isn’t good enough.
The fact that they have avoided losing has managed to ease some of the talk about the Dutchman’s future.
But at this stage, it just feels inevitable that Slot will be leaving the club, whether in the summer or at some point in the coming months.
