There was a lack of urgency in the team and they were very short of ideas, so questions will start to be asked of Arne Slot.
Jamie Carragher, however, spoke before the game about what Liverpool needed to do if they were to get the win, and it is safe to say that they did not listen.

Overall, there is just no urgency in the team and they look too cautious, with Carragher urging them before the game to take the handbrake off.

Liverpool are overplaying and trying to make every goal perfect
The Reds dominate possession almost every game, but they just cannot seem to do anything with it.
Players were playing too safe and did not try anything too risky in case they lost the ball, which just is not like Liverpool at all.
Players like Florian Wirtz need to gamble and trust that they have the quality to pull things off, rather than going backwards or trying to pass it into the net.
This is something Slot needs to change and like Carragher says, they need to take the handbrake off, as right now, it is far too lacklustre.
