The Chelsea fans who made the long trip to Manchester City were rewarded for sticking by their team at the end of a turbulent week.
Enzo Fernandez’s last-minute goal rescued a point for the Blues, with interim manager Calum McFarlane enjoying a great response from the Chelsea fans.
McFarlane actually had a very positive impact on proceedings with his substitutions helping the Blues, however the circus that was the Enzo Maresca sacking is expected to end with the hiring of Liam Rosenior.

Chelsea fans have shown their discontent to the ownership throughout the past few days, and it was the away fans who were making all the noise throughout the game.

Unfortunately for Todd Boehly and co, the chants were not showing them in a positive light. Instead, the travelling supporters were chanting in favour of a former owner.
Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has stated that Chelsea fans were calling for Roman Abramovich, after the years of dominance they enjoyed during his tenure in West London.
He said: “Chants of ‘Roman Abramovich’ are back in the away end at Manchester City vs Chelsea.”

There are reports that Chelsea fans are planning a protest ahead of upcoming Premier League game against Brentford in two weeks’ time to try and make a stance against the current ownership.
Maresca was not universally loved by Chelsea fans, but it was hard to deny that the Blues were heading in a positive direction with him in charge.

Liam Rosenior announcement is imminent
As Chelsea were rescuing a point against City, Rosenior was flying in from Strasbourg for further talks over taking over at Stamford Bridge.
It has even been reported that Rosenior could be announced on Monday as the new manager, putting an end to a hectic week in West London.
The Englishman is going to need to deliver results quickly to help get fans back on board with the wavering project at Stamford Bridge.
However, their performance at the Etihad showed there is more than enough quality in the squad to get results in the second half of the season.
