AFC Bournemouth drew 2-2 with the Blues in midweek last week, before they were beaten 3-2 by the Gunners at home on Saturday.
The Cherries took the early lead in that game through Evanilson, before Arsenal responded through Gabriel to make it 1-1 at the interval, with the home side having the better of the first half.
Match report and reaction:
But Arsenal’s quality saw them open up a 3-1 lead in the second period, with Declan Rice netting his first brace in the Premier League, before a Junior Kroupi strike from range gave the Cherries some hope late on.
But they weren’t able to turn that late momentum into an equaliser and they were beaten by the Gunners, meaning their run without a win extended to eleven games.

But Cook believes a win is not far away as the Cherries have produced some good performances in that run, despite some poor ones, including the 4-1 defeat away at Brentford.
Asked about the confidence the team will take from the performances in the Chelsea draw and the Arsenal defeat, Cook told the Daily Echo: “I think after the Brentford game, we knew we had to try and bounce back with performances first.
“And I think that's what we've done. We've showed that in the last couple of games we can compete. And yeah, I think we've just got to try and turn them into whole performances and try and get some more points.”
Cook said a win is needed to turn the form but that will help kickstart their season once again.
“I think obviously I'd be a bit worried if every game was like the Brentford one,” he said.
“We weren’t ourselves there. But I think if performances carry on, we'll get some wins, definitely.”

Cook came off the bench with 15 minutes left to play at Dean Court on Saturday, after he missed the Chelsea game due to a neck knock.
He confirmed that he was “feeling ok” and had “a few niggles” but otherwise he was ready to be called upon.
Watching from the bench in the first half against the Gunners, Cook felt they were taking the game to the league leaders and they were right in it at the break.
“I think we were in the game and the lads fought for that at half time,” he said.
“I think obviously they came out and they were very clinical.
“They got the goals and it was tough after that to come back. But I think we got a bit of momentum towards the end of the game. But we just couldn't change that into more goals.”
