Liverpool’s start to the January transfer window has been quiet, with little in the way of significant ins and outs.
That said, there have been a few moves for youth-team players, with another update emerging on Sunday. Owen Beck’s short-term switch to Derby County was ended prematurely after a disastrous stint in the East Midlands.
In terms of the first-team agenda, it's Liverpool’s pursuit of a center-back that is dominating. The Reds continue to be linked with Club Brugge’s Joel Ordonez, while 17-year-old Ifeanyi Ndukwe is also reportedly on the club’s radar.
There is still no certainty Liverpool will strengthen at the back, however, particularly after such a lavish summer outlay on new recruits.
Meanwhile, the likes of Adam Wharton, Carlos Baleba and even Real Madrid’s Rodrygo have been mentioned in the latest gossip round-ups.
As for outgoings, Harvey Elliott’s future remains uncertain following Unai Emery’s admission that he does not have a future at Aston Villa. Federico Chiesa has also been linked with a return to Italy.
