Man Utd have sacked Ruben Amorim after 14 months in charge following a Monday morning meeting with Director of Football Jason Wilcox and CEO Omar Berrada.
Disagreements between Amorim and the board over January signings are believed to be the catalyst for the fallout.
While Darren Fletcher has been put in charge of the team temporarily, thoughts will quickly turn to who will replace Amorim on a permanent basis.
