Manchester City are emerging in the race to sign Liverpool target and Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, according to a report from the BBC.
Guehi is set to be out of contract in the summer transfer window, meaning there's a strong chance he could depart in January. The Eagles might be considering offloading him now, rather than allowing him to depart for nothing later in the year. The England international was close to joining Liverpool last summer, before a move fell through on deadline day.
After a move collapsed, Guehi remained at Selhurst Park and has been a key figure in Oliver Glasner's side this season. With no progress being made over a new contract, Guehi's future remains uncertain, with a host of clubs now in the race to sign him in 2026.

According to a report from the BBC, Man City are now emerging as contenders in the race to sign Crystal Palace centre-back Guehi this month. They are exploring a move after injuries to both Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias, while John Stones is also on the treatment table at the moment.
Guehi, who has been described as 'world-class', is also a target for Liverpool, while a move in January rather than the summer can't be discounted. Guehi also has a host of clubs on the continent also keen on securing his signature, including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
Interestingly, the aforementioned European clubs will be able to sign Guehi on a pre-contract agreement for the summer, but it's unclear, as it stands, whether he wants to move now or later in the year.
