The Indiana Pacers may trade Bennedict Mathurin before the Feb. 5 deadline, with teams watching his career-high season closely.
Rival teams are keeping an eye on whether the Indiana Pacers will shop Bennedict Mathurin ahead of the Feb. 5 trade deadline, according to Evan Sidery of Forbes.
Mathurin, who signed a lucrative extension this summer, is putting up career-high numbers with 17.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in 24 contests.
The Pacers could consider trading him to secure a long-term solution at center, the report adds.
Mathurin is currently sidelined with a right thumb sprain. He had been trying to play through the injury for a few weeks, but will now need time to recover fully.
The Pacers are now 6-30.
