Gary Neville Makes Bold "WILL WIN" Premier League Title Prediction Amid Arsenal & Man City "Firepower" Debate

Gary Neville has said whether Arsenal or Man City will win the league based on his thoughts of their seasons so far.

Arsenal are fully embroiled in a title fight with rivals Manchester City yet again. Last year, it was Liverpool, but the previous two seasons, Arsenal found themselves second best to Man City, and they are looking to finally get the better of their rivals.

This past weekend was kind to the Gunners, as they beat Bournemouth 3-2, and saw Man City drop points against Chelsea, which has left them with a six point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

City are level on points with Aston Villa, both of whom now need two wins to match Arsenal’s points tally, so the title fate is very much in the hands of Mikel Arteta‘s side.

Neville says Arsenal “will win” the Premier League

After their impressive 3-2 win against the Cherries at the weekend, Arsenal will be feeling great about their title chances, and Gary Neville has said they have every right to. The former England and Man United full-back claims Arsenal “will win” the title, based on what he’s seen so far.

Neville said during the Gary Neville Podcast: “I think Arsenal will win the title. I think that City will go in front of them at times, but I just think that Arsenal have got so much. Bournemouth was a perfect example of that, they go a goal down, but then the firepower that they bring off the bench, Jesus, Saka and Trossard, that’s going to do real damage.

“If you can bring on players of that quality, replacing players that are already on the pitch, you’re going to win a lot of matches. They’re going to have options going down the home straight.”

The Gunners have crucial games coming up

Following their win against Bournemouth, Arsenal have no time to celebrate, as they need to prepare for a very tough game against Liverpool on Thursday night at the Emirates. Liverpool are one of just two teams who’ve been able to beat the Gunners this season, the other being Aston Villa.

After the game against the Reds, Arsenal will play against a tough-to-beat Nottingham Forest side under Sean Dyche, before facing a Man United side who could see a new manager bounce after they sacked Ruben Amorim on Monday morning.

The next three games could prove to be pivotal in their title fight against City, especially the coming fixture against Liverpool.
