Liam Rosenior is expected to take charge of his first game as Chelsea’s new manager on Wednesday.
He will lead the Blues against West London rivals Fulham in their Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.
Rosenior actually spent four years at Fulham during his playing career, making 92 appearances in all competitions.
One of those games was against Chelsea in September 2006, when he made a crucial mistake that he must remember to this day.

Liam Rosenior’s big mistake in Fulham vs Chelsea
Rosenior started for Fulham against Chelsea in their Premier League match on Saturday, 23 September 2006.
Chris Coleman’s side played well for the majority of the game and were unlucky not to earn a point.
However, the Cottagers came unstuck after 73 minutes, as Rosenior conceded a penalty for handball.

The defender lost his balance under pressure from Salomon Kalou and sent the ball out of play with his arm.
Frank Lampard then converted from the spot before doubling the Blues’ advantage with a long-range effort minutes later.
So, Rosenior will hope for a better individual experience when he returns to Craven Cottage this week.

Liam Rosenior needs to win first Chelsea game vs Fulham
Chelsea’s visit to Fulham on Wednesday provides the perfect opportunity for Liam Rosenior to make an impression on the club’s supporters.
Rosenior is already under scrutiny from many Chelsea fans who wish the club had appointed someone more experienced.
Therefore, a victory in his opening match against the Blues’ closest rivals would help towards winning the supporters over.
Fulham will be feeling confident, as they are on a four-game unbeaten run, but Chelsea and Rosenior certainly have the tools to beat them.
