In the wake of the Giannis trade speculations, James Dolan argued that the Knicks don't need to make big changes
The New York Knicks are easily the most prominent team being linked to the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade saga.
But in a potential mega deal that would land the Greek superstar in the Big Apple, Knicks owner James Dolan appears unconvinced to go all-in and pull the trigger.
In his appearance on WFAN's The Carton Show, Dolan admitted that he has no idea about the rumors surrounding the Knicks and Antetokounmpo. As such, he offered strong optimism that his team can win it all with its current core.
"Not that I’m aware of. We love our team right now," he said, via New York Post's Stefan Bondy. "They have chemistry, they all like each other. I’ve never seen a locker room more copacetic. There’s a lot of energy there.
"[Knicks president Leon Rose] can always overrule me. But I don’t see us making a big change. Because we got to keep building up this group. This group can win a championship. I believe that."
