Liverpool are “expected to sign” Amitie FC centre-back Talla Ndiaye, according to journalist Saikou Seydi.
Writing on his X account, Seydi said that the 17-year-old is likely to rubber-stamp his move to Anfield imminently:
“The young defender for Amitie FC (who came through Bou Sports Academy), El Hadj Mor Ndiaye, is expected to sign with Liverpool in the coming days. Mor Ndiaye played in the U17 World Cup in Qatar with Senegal.”

Ndiaye turns 18 today, so there won’t be any issues in terms of securing his services straight away. Premier League teams can’t buy foreign players below that age.
What do fans need to know about Ndiaye?
Due to his background, we don’t have a lot to go on other than his performances for Senegal at the Under-17 World Cup.
Ndiaye is a left-footed centre-half, and he made four appearances during the tournament in Qatar. He started the first two group games – the 0-0 draw against Croatia and the 1-0 win over Costa Rica.
In the third match against the UAE, the teenager was substituted at halftime. He was given a rest with his country already 3-0 up. The defender played 65 minutes in the last 32 clash versus Uganda before he was substituted during the 1-0 defeat.
Ndiaye can be deployed at left-back if needed, but he is most commonly used in the middle of defence.
Liverpool are also targeting another centre-back
In addition to Ndiaye, it is believed that the Merseyside club are poised to recruit a second young defender, Austria Vienna’s Ifeanyi Ndukwe.
The Reds have had a bid accepted for the 17-year-old, and it is expected that the youngster will move to England when he is eligible next summer.
Ndukwe has already made his senior debut, having played 7 games in Austria’s second division for Austria Vienna’s B team Young Violets.
