The January transfer window is open for business but Liverpool are yet to reveal their hand. The Reds suffered a late blow against Fulham on Sunday with the Cottagers earning a dramatic 2-2 draw thanks to a last minute wonder strike.
Their second consecutive draw, coupled with brewing injury concerns, has seen some fans and pundits call for reinforcements. Arne Slot's Liverpool signings so far have seen him bring in five attacking players and two forward-thinking full backs. Three goalkeepers and one centre-back also made up his 11 signings.
Slot's final transfers at his former club Feyenoord are somewhat tellingly parallel as his signings at Liverpool, offering a sort of microcosm of the profile the Dutch boss likes and doesn't like to recruit.
Here, we take a look at Slot's last five signings made for his former club before he left for Liverpool and what they can tell us about what he's going to do next at Anfield.
Anis Hadj Moussa - winger
Signed under Slot but arriving at the club after the Dutchman had joined Liverpool, Moussa, 23, has been an ever-present threat for Feyenoord. The right-sided player has scored 18 goals and bagged seven assists in 63 games for the Dutch side.
With Liverpool in need of more ammunition from wide areas after the departure of Luis Diaz it could bode well that Slot has recruited well in that area in the past.

With Rio Ngumoha currently struggling for minutes and Federico Chiesa failing to earn Slot's trust, it's likely Liverpool will look to swoop for a left winger in the near future. Moussa's success at Feyenoord perhaps indicates Slot has an eye for talent out-wide.
Mikki van Sas - goalkeeper
Slot signed Van Sas from Manchester City's academy in September 2023 on a free transfer. The 21-year-old shot stopper failed to make a single appearance for Feyenoord and was loaned out to Vitesse in the Netherlands.
While he was on the bench for Slot's former side in the Champions League and Europa League he ultimately made a move to Wycombe Wanderers.
This tells us that Slot likes to have his goalkeeping ranks stacked. He has already signed three goalkeepers in his time at Liverpool with Giorgi Mamardashvili, Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman all joining.
However, only Marmadashvili has featured regularly in the absence of Alisson Becker while Woodman has made one start in the Carabao Cup defeat to Crystal Palace.
Luka Ivanusec - attacking midfielder
The 27-year-old Croatian joined Feyenoord in August 2023. Ivanusec scored four goals and notched up seven assists in 55 games.
However, despite making in-roads at the Dutch side, he was shipped out on loan to PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece last summer where he is currently playing.

Liverpool fans know Slot likes to recruit in attack. However, with Florian Wirtz still feeling his way around the number ten spot since arriving last summer, it's perhaps not entirely surprising that Ivanesec struggled to make an impact in the position under Slot.
Ondrej Lingr - attacking midfielder
Arriving for just £6.7m from Slavia Prague in August 2023, Lingr managed 28 outings under Slot where he featured behind the forward line.
He was subsequently loaned back to Prague before being sold back to his old club in the summer of 2024. He now plays for Houston Dynamo in the MLS.
As with Ivanusec, Lingr represents another failed attacking midfield experiment for Slot with Feyenoord. One can maybe expect the Liverpool boss to spend his remaining transfer budget on another area of the squad in future transfer windows with his record in attacking midfield acquisitions not particularly stellar.
Bart Nieuwkoop - defender
The right-back came through the ranks at Feyenoord and even made 81 appearances before being sold to Willem II in 2020. After a three season stint at Belgian side Union SG, Nieuwkoop resigned for Feyenoord under Slot in August 2023 and continues to play his football for Feyenoord to this day.

Under Slot's management, the 29-year-old played right back and occasionally as a flying full-back on the wing - an experience that Liverpool's current full backs are currently experiencing. Liverpool are crying out for defensive reinforcements following Geovani Leoni and Joe Gomez's injuries.
It's a promising sign that, in the flurry of attacking players and back-up goalkeepers to arrive, that defence was kept in mind with Liverpool only one injury away from a full-blown crisis at centre-back.
