Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green put his body on the line to try to give the team the victory on Monday. Unfortunately for the star forward, the Warriors suffered a 103-102 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Following the contest, Green talked about his status ahead of the team’s Wednesday game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Green didn’t have the best scoring night of his career. He finished with six points on 25% shooting. But the Warriors star made contributions in other aspects of the game. He had five rebounds, 12 assists and two steals.
The four-time All-Star worked overtime doing hustle plays for the Warriors. But it wasn’t enough to give them the win.

During his postgame press conference before their game against the Bucks, Green discussed his physical condition.
“I’m beat the hell up,” Green said. “But I’ll be alright on Wednesday.”
ESPN’s Anthony Slater asked if it was the accumulation of the 2025-26 season or just the game against the Clippers. During the contest, Green tried to save a loose ball and sacrificed his body when he dove into the Warriors’ bench.
“[The] crash into the bench. I knocked a rib out, then right after that, I rolled my ankle, I fell on my wrist, I hurt my left wrist. It’s just the accumulation of this game,” he added.
The Warriors need Green’s presence against the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led team. Golden State has yet to give an update on the star forward’s potential status against the Eastern Conference team.
