Just in: Liam Rosenior confirms whether he's going to be joining Chelsea in revealing interview

Liam Rosenior has confirmed he is leaving his role as Strasbourg head coach to join Chelsea, with his first game in charge expected to be a visit to Charlton in the FA Cup on January 10, according to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs.

The 41-year-old announced his imminent departure from the Ligue 1 club in a press conference on Tuesday morning, revealing he will succeed Enzo Maresca following the Italian’s sacking last week.

It is believed that Rosenior spent Monday negotiating a move to Stamford Bridge after being identified as the leading candidate to replace Maresca following his surprise exit.

Under-21s head coach Calum McFarlane is expected to remain in interim charge for Chelsea’s Premier League visit to Fulham on Wednesday.
