Former Newcastle United star and Pundit Alan Shearer has come out and told the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool that target Rodrygo would flourish in the Premier League, after reports emerged that he has decided to leave Real Madrid.
According to recent reporting, the 24-year-old has taken the significant step of preparing a definitive departure from Real Madrid, engaging in discussions to appoint a new super-agent to help manage and accelerate a move away from Spain.
Sources claim Rodrygo and his camp believe this fresh representation will be crucial to unlocking a transfer next summer — or potentially even during the ongoing January window.
Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid has been under intense scrutiny for months. The Brazilian’s role under coach Xabi Alonso has been inconsistent, with limited starts and reduced influence in key fixtures — particularly following the emergence of other attacking options and tactical shifts that have squeezed his minutes.
This diminished role has reportedly caused frustration for the forward, who is keen to play regularly to maintain a spot in Brazil’s national setup — especially with the 2026 World Cup looming. Choosing to move on could offer Rodrygo the platform he believes he needs to reignite his career at a club where he would feature as a definitive first-team star.
“I think that Rodrygo would do very well in the Premier League – he’s an excellent player,” said Alan Shearer via Betfair. “I heard one or two things that maybe last year, one or two English clubs were chasing him.
“If that is the case, that he’s not happy at Real Madrid, then there won’t be a shortage of offers for him to come and play in the Premier League. I think that there would be two or three clubs who would try and get him.”

If the likes of ARSENAL ,Chelsea and Liverpool are prepared to pay that massive asking fee, and are ready to pay that massive wage, then Rodrygo would be a great signing for the club.
This is a rumour that we all will want to see such a world class player make that move to the Premier League, but it is much more likely that it will happen at the end of the season and Rodrygo will get a loan move until the end of the season.
