Liam Rosenior’s dad Leroy is a former footballer who was a forward for Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United. When he retired, Leroy Rosenior coached in the lower leagues and non-league.

Who did Liam Rosenior play football for?

Liam Rosenior started his career with Bristol City and went on to play for Fulham. He also played for Reading and Ipswich Town and moved to Hull City in 2010. In 2015, he moved to Brighton and whilst at the club, managed their Under-23 side. Liam Rosenior went on to become first-team coach at Derby and was assistant manager under Wayne Rooney.

Liam Rosenior became head coach at Hull City and in 2024, was named head coach of Strasbourg.

Who is Liam Rosenior’s wife, do they have children?

Liam Rosenior married his American wife Erikia in 2009 and the couple share four daughters together. When he retired from playing football in 2018, he said: "Undoubtedly, it is a sad day for any professional footballer when the time comes to stop playing.

“However, I have enjoyed a long career and feel privileged to have earned a living doing something that I love.

"I am so lucky to have lived my childhood dream and I am now ready for the next chapter.

"There are a great many people and clubs to thank. Firstly, to every member of my wonderful family, most notably Mum, Dad, my brother Daron, my wife Erika and my four beautiful children: your love, belief and support was always a source of huge strength for me. I hope I made you proud.”
