Chelsea forward Mara Alber will spend the rest of the season on loan at Werder Bremen.
The 20-year-old joined Chelsea in the summer from TSG Hoffenheim and played just over an hour in a friendly against Ajax in pre-season, but is yet to make her full debut for the Blues.
Alber is a versatile forward who can play on either flank or through the middle and is a regular for the Germany Under-23 national team.
Having made her name at Hoffenheim, the youngster now returns to her native Germany in the Frauen-Bundesliga as she looks to gain playing time.
