Despite agreeing a deal with Strasbourg to sign Emanuel Emegha, Chelsea still appear to be open to bringing in another striker.
Wolverhampton Wanderers star Jorgen Strand Larsen is thought to be available, so he is one potential option for Chelsea.
At the end of the last transfer window, journalist Simon Phillips claimed that Chelsea reached out to Strand Larsen following Liam Delap’s hamstring injury.

Chelsea not impressed with Jorgen Strand Larsen
According to Phillips, Chelsea gave serious thought to signing Strand Larsen last summer after scouting the Norwegian.
However, the journalist has shared on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that the Club World Cup winners are no longer interested in him.
Sources have told Phillips that Chelsea have scouted Strand Larsen again this season but were not as impressed this time around.

Chelsea are likely to finish the campaign with Delap, Joao Pedro and Marc Guiu as their centre-forward options.
Add Emegha to the mix this summer, and they have enough bodies. But whether Liam Rosenior will have enough quality is another matter.
Before Chelsea can sign another No.9, sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley will have to offload a couple of their current options.

Jorgen Strand Larsen’s stats this season
It has been a dreadful campaign for Strand Larsen and Wolves, who sit rock bottom in the Premier League table after taking just six points from 20 games.
Strand Larsen has had little impact, scoring just one goal in 18 outings. Last term, the Norway international netted 14 times in 35 appearances, a record he has little chance of replicating this season.
The fact that he could get to 14 Premier League goals in a side like Wolves is very promising, though. To put that into perspective, Nicolas Jackson only scored 10 goals in the top flight during the 2024/25 campaign.
Nevertheless, Chelsea clearly have some doubts about the former Celta Vigo player.
