Alejandro Garnacho and his Chelsea teammates will welcome Liam Rosenior to Stamford Bridge.
On Tuesday morning, Rosenior confirmed that he is joining Chelsea to replace Enzo Maresca, which the club have now announced.
Maresca departed west London last week after falling out with the club’s hierarchy, leaving Chelsea Under-21 boss Calum McFarlane to steady the ship.

The Blues have now found a permanent manager, and prior to his arrival, Garnacho discussed what the team need to do while giving his thoughts on Maresca’s exit.

Alejandro Garnacho sad to see Enzo Maresca leave Chelsea
Garnacho did not work with Maresca for too long, with the winger having only arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer.
Even so, he is disappointed to see the 45-year-old go, saying as much in a recent interview.
Speaking to Sky Sports about Maresca’s departure and what Chelsea now have to do, Garnacho said: “It’s always sad when a manager goes. He’s a really good guy. I learnt a lot from him, but I signed for Chelsea, so we have to keep working, keep moving and be ready for what is coming.”

Indeed, Rosenior has to quickly get the Conference League holders back to winning ways. They are on a run of just one win in eight Premier League games and sit outside the top four.
Garnacho and Chelsea will be hoping that it does not become nine when they take on Fulham in a west London derby on Wednesday.

Enzo Maresca departure could be bad news for Alejandro Garnacho
Several Chelsea players would not have wanted to see Maresca leave, including Garnacho.
Garnacho was getting plenty of game time under the Italian, who preferred him to Jamie Gittens. It may not be the same story with Rosenior.
To keep his place in the team, Garnacho may need to go up another gear. So far this season, the Argentina international has only scored one goal in the Premier League.
Garnacho has managed to record three assists, but his goal output needs to increase. If Rosenior is going to be a success in west London, he needs his attackers firing.
All in all, with Maresca gone, there could be a real battle between Garnacho and Gittens for the left-wing spot.
