Los Angeles enters Tuesday’s game with a 22-11 record after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies at home on Sunday night.

In Sunday’s victory over the Grizzlies, Luka Doncic led the way for the Lakers as he recorded 36 points, nine rebounds and eight assists while LeBron James added 26 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists of his own.

Now Los Angeles will try to grab another victory on Tuesday on the road as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.

On the other side, New Orleans enters Tuesday’s contest with an 8-29 record after losing on the road to the Miami Heat on Sunday night.

Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans in Sunday’s loss as he ended the game with 27 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Jeremiah Fears recorded 21 points and three rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Lakers, they have four players listed on their injury report, including both Rui Hachimura and Gabe Vincent.

Los Angeles has ruled out Hachimura due to a right calf strain as he will miss his fourth consecutive contest.

With Hachimura still sidelined, Jake LaRavia will likely continue to start in his place while Dalton Knecht could also have an increased role.

The Lakers have also ruled out Austin Reaves due to a left calf strain while Adou Thiero remains sidelined with a right MCL sprain.

Vincent has been upgraded to questionable for Tuesday due to a lumbar back strain and there is a chance he could return from an eight-game absence against the Pelicans.

Pelicans Injury Report, Will Herb Jones, Saddiq Bey Play?

On the other side, the Pelicans have three players listed on their injury report, including both Herb Jones and Saddiq Bey.

New Orleans has listed Jones as questionable due to a right ankle sprain and there is a chance he could return from a seven-game absence on Tuesday night.

If Jones is unable to return against the Lakers, Bryce McGowens and Jordan Poole could both continue to have larger roles.

The Pelicans have ruled out Bey due to a right hip flexor strain while Dejounte Murray remains sidelined while recovering from a torn Achilles.
