The Chicago Bulls will be signing Yuki Kawamura again.
Chicago Bulls / Schedule
The team announced Tuesday that the Japanese sensation will be joining the team on a two-way deal. To make a room, the Bulls have waived Trenton Flowers.
This marks the return of Kawamura to the Windy City. After an impressive 2025 Summer League outing, he initially earned a two-way deal. But a right lower leg injury led to his release last October.
Kawamura, 24, spent his first season in the NBA as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies on a two-way deal. He appeared in 22 games, averaging modest numbers in 4.2 minutes.
As such, he was a standout for the Memphis Hustle. Kawamura averaged 12.7 points, 8.5 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 31 games in the G League.
