Devin Booker has spent his entire career with the Phoenix Suns and he has had an impressive career. He has racked up numerous accolades and has established himself as one of the best players in the game.
One thing Booker has done in his career is hit game-winning shots. Something most people in the league can’t say they’ve done. But for Booker, he has shown that he has that clutch factor and wants the ball when the game is on the line.
On January 4th, Booker hit the game-winning shot against the Oklahoma City Thunder. After the game a reporter asked Booker if it ever gets old hitting that big shot.

In his 11th season, Booker has already established himself as one of the best to put on a Suns jersey. The four-time All-Star is the all-time leading scorer in franchise history and is the all-time leader in three-pointers made. According to NBA.com, Booker has hit eight game-winning shots over the course of his career, which includes the regular season and postseason.
Booker knows how to put the ball in the basket. This season he leads his team in scoring averaging 25.7 points per game through 33 games. He has averaged 25 or more points for seven consecutive seasons. The Suns are currently in the playoff picture and Booker has played a vital part in that.
Phoenix had a disappointing season last year, finishing with a record of 36-46. This season has been a complete turnaround with new additions to the team. There’s no question that Booker wants to win a championship in Phoenix. He came close back in 2021, but fell short to the Milwaukee Bucks.
In July of last year, Booker signed a two-year extension worth $145 million. He made it clear that he wanted to win in Phoenix. “I have unfinished business here, I know how much [a championship] would mean to this city and this organization,” Booker said. The Suns have never won a championship, so if Booker can bring one to Phoenix, that would cement his legacy even more.

Over the course of his career, Booker has developed into a leader on the court and in the locker room. He has gained a lot of experience throughout his career and is now looked at as a veteran on his team.
Booker understands that he’s the face of the franchise and he has to set the right example for his team. “The leadership aspect is going to be more important than ever this year,” Booker said. “Just realizing our roster, the age of our roster, and just the experience that I’ve had and what I’ve seen. So I’m gonna do what I can. Always gonna use my voice.”
Booker is a student of the game and is always finding ways to better himself and to help put his team in position to win games.
