Draymond Green should ideally refrain from addressing Jordan Poole again, especially when it comes to fights. Poole’s time with the Golden State Warriors effectively came to an end after the clip of Green punching him. But Draymond recently slammed Poole for his reaction to another NBA fight.
In a recent game between the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans, Mark Williams and Jose Alvarado threw punches at one another. In the background, JP can be seen looking shocked at the intensity of the fight. However, he didn’t get involved, which is what Green has called him out for.

“If I’m in a fight, though, and my teammates stand behind me and do this, come on, man,” Green said on his podcast. “We can’t be doing that. David West used to always tell us, man, if something goes on on the court, you go over there because you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
“I ain’t saying you got to go over there and fight, but you at least got to go stand because you don’t know what’s going to happen. What if those five guys jump on your one teammate, and you stay over there? Then what? Is he just going to not help there? “

Draymond might be one of the authorities when it comes to physical altercations in the NBA. However, given his track record, it would be difficult to say that his advice is conducive to making good decisions in those situations. As far as Jordan Poole is concerned, he’s unlikely to be too pressed by this callout.
