LeBron James claims LA Lakers have to adjust on Luka Doncic's play style

James fully recognized the Slovenian star as the head of the snake for the Lakers, claiming that he has no problem adjusting his game for Doncic.

All season long, the Los Angeles Lakers have faced tons of questions regarding their overall system.

Simply put, the Lakers have three main ball handlers in the group from Luka Doncic, LeBron James and Austin Reaves. Fans and critics expressed skepticism about how the three can complement each other and play coordinated basketball despite their ball dominance.

But following Tuesday's 111-103 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, James officially set everything straight amid doubts from many. According to the four-time MVP, it's up to him and the rest of the Lakers to adjust and cater to the strengths of Doncic.

"Luka doesn’t need to bend his game," James answered as he was asked how he, Luka and Reaves need to adjust their game for the Lakers to figure everything out. "He’s our 27-year-old franchise player, so it’s up to us to bend our game around him and figure it out.

"We try to be dynamic and work off of him. We know he’s an unbelievable pick-and-roll player and an unbelievable shot-maker who commands the defense. He has four eyes, sometimes six eyes, on him. It’s up to us to put ourselves in the right position."
