Derby day: Chelsea visit Fulham in the Premier League
Chelsea Football Newsletter
The west London derby returns this evening as Chelsea, no longer managerless, make the short trip to Fulham.
The Blues will have caretaker boss Calum McFarlane in the dugout again, but he will return to his Under-21 squad on Thursday morning.
Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior will step in to take the reins, then, after being formally appointed as Enzo Maresca’s successor on Tuesday.
He will watch on from the stands at Craven Cottage, taking to the dugout himself for the first time on Saturday when Chelsea face Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup third round at the Valley.
Fulham will pose a tricky test for the Blues, who have one win in their last eight League outings. The Cottagers always get up for a derby and are fresh off the back of a hugely encouraging draw with Liverpool.
After falling foul of some dubious VAR decisions in the reverse of this fixture back in August, they will hope to get their own back this evening.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports Football, with coverage starting at 6pm GMT ahead of a 7.30pm kick-off.
