Liam Rosenior has already worked with several Chelsea players following his spell at the Blues’ sister club Strasbourg.
The above includes Andrey Santos, Kendry Paez, Mamadou Sarr and Mike Penders, who are all owned by Chelsea.
Santos is at Stamford Bridge right now, but Paez, Sarr and Penders are at Strasbourg, which is where Rosenior worked with them.

Chelsea won’t recall Mike Penders
Despite being Rosenior’s first-choice goalkeeper at Strasbourg this season, for now, Penders will not be part of Chelsea’s first-team plans.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues have no plans to recall Penders after their appointment of Rosenior as manager.
The same applies to Sarr, though Paez could be brought back and sent elsewhere to get more playing time.
Paez has made just four starts in Ligue 1 this season, but Rosenior’s successor could plan to use him more, so it remains to be seen what happens with the attacking midfielder.
As for Penders, he has been a mainstay in goal at Strasbourg. At some point, you would expect the Belgian to become Chelsea’s No.1. Sanchez, who has trained ahead of the Blues’ game against Fulham on Wednesday after a small injury, currently has the position locked down.

Mike Penders’ numbers at Strasbourg
Chelsea would disrupt Strasbourg’s season even more by recalling Penders, with the 20-year-old doing a good job in goal.

Penders has kept six clean sheets in 16 league outings, giving him a clean sheet percentage of 37.5%. The former Genk man also has a save percentage of 70.3%, according to FBref.
Strasbourg fans are already fuming with BlueCo following Rosenior’s move to Chelsea. The Blues recalling Penders will only add fuel to the fire, though that appears unlikely.
The Conference League holders will finish the campaign with Sanchez as their first-choice shot-stopper.
