Here is the latest Liverpool transfer news that is circulating in the media as there have been claims that the Reds have been linked with a surprise move for Argentine superstar Lionel Messi.
*LIVERPOOL*spent some serious money in the summer transfer window and added the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Aleksander Isak to that attack in order to push on from their Premier League winning campaign last season.
However – some dodgy performances from a number of players under Arne Slot this season has meant that Liverpool are off the pace for another League title and looking alot more defensively shakey than many would have liked.

The Argentine attacker currently plays for Inter Miami, and he is on a break due to the MLS schedule. Therefore, there have been rumours that a temporary loan move to Europe could be ideal, allowing the player to continue training at a high level and compete at a higher intensity in the coming months.
The 38-year-old registered 43 goals and 26 assists during the 24/25 season.
