Chelsea have emerged as the latest Premier League club to make a concrete move for Breno Bidon. Their interest shifts the tone of the market around the Corinthians midfielder.
According to club insider outlet Somos Corinthianos, the London side submitted an official offer worth around €20m. Corinthians quickly rejected it.
The same report says Chelsea’s approach pushed Corinthians to harden their stance. The Brazilian club now ask between €35m and €40m to consider a sale. That figure sits well above the valuations discussed so far in Europe and shows how strongly Corinthians rate the 20-year-old.
Chelsea’s move adds a new layer to a story that already involved other English clubs. Manchester United have tracked Bidon for some time. Arsenal also contacted Corinthians to gather information about a possible deal. Neither club reached the stage of a formal bid, but their approaches set the context for Chelsea’s push.
From Corinthians’ perspective, the growing Premier League attention strengthens their position. Bidon remains under contract until December 2029. The club see no reason to rush any decision.

As previously reported, the player’s camp also show no urgency and continue to stress that timing matters more than speed.
For now, Chelsea’s reported bid represents the most decisive move from England. It remains unclear whether the club will return with improved terms. The gap between European offers and Corinthians’ demands still looks wide.
