Liverpool fans have welcomed speculation that Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola could leave the Parc des Princes at the end of the season.

There have beenreports linking the France international with a move to Anfield and other clubs since last summer, and L’Equipe reporter Loic Tanzi has now reignited hopes of a potential transfer by stating that there is a genuine chance that the forward could part ways with PSG:

“I think that Barcola will be a real topic next summer, to leave Paris Saint-Germain.”

Barcola is this years Bellingham.

We'll miss out on multiple attainable targets who offer very similar style & quality, because

"we only want our main target"

before barcola eventually signs for Madrid or barca.

Why is Barcola considering a move away from PSG?

It appears as if this is due to a breakdown in talks over a new contract. The 23-year-old’s current deal expires in 2028, and attempts have been made to extend his stay.

However, the two parties are not close to finding an agreement at the moment, and it may lead to Barcola being sold as a consequence.

Liverpool would have to pay a sizeable fee

It has been claimed that PSG would demand upwards of €100m (£87m) for Barcola, which is a very high sum.

If the Reds are seeking to replace Mo Salah this summer, though, then it is a fee that could be considered reasonable. Of course, Barcola is likely to have plenty of other suitors, but it is a situation to keep a close eye on.
