There is tentative confidence over the future of Chelsea after the decision was made to appoint their new manager, Liam Rosenior.
Enzo Maresca’s permanent successor will be in the stands for the West London derby, although it will be Calum McFarlane in charge of the first team to face Fulham.
Wayne Rooney has sung Rosenior’s praises after working with him previously at Derby County, and the new boss has already met the squad ahead of leading them into the FA Cup tie with Charlton.

Boehly needs to learn from Maresca transfer mistakes
A list compiling every signing made by Chelsea when Maresca was in charge is not pretty reading considering the success he delivered to the club.
He was buoyed by the additions of Estevao Willian and Joao Pedro, however plenty will have hoped for more in the summer window after a return to Champions League football and Club World Cup triumph.
BlueCo are insistent that managers should be able to work with the squad they have been given at Stamford Bridge, but the message should be getting through that this has so far not been the case.
