Peacock Debuts New Features for 2026 NBA All-Star Game and Winter Olympics

If you're watching sports on Peacock this season for NBA games, Super Bowl LX and the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, there are some fresh features coming to the platform. On Wednesday, the streaming service announced its plans to take fans inside the action with their favorite athletes and teams during what the company has dubbed as Legendary February.

The NBA is reworking the All-Star Game for 2026 as a US vs. World event taking place on Feb. 15 with one international team and two teams from the US. Peacock will officially launch Courtside Live (which was announced last year) for the big game, a feature that transports you inside the arena. Watch camera feeds that beam you to the hottest individual player on the court, or show you what's happening on each team's bench.

Just toggle Star Spotlight, Home Team, or Away Team to navigate each view on your phone, or stream it on your TV using multiview. Fans will also be able to use Courtside Live to watch highlights or check out action inside the tunnel, stands, and in interviews. After the All-Star event, the function will be available for select NBA games.

This year's Winter Olympic Games kick off on Feb. 6, and you can virtually hit the ice with Rinkside Live, Peacock's new feature for ice hockey and figure skating events. You'll be able to stream highlights and behind-the-scenes moments, and those watching on a mobile device can also view vertical video playlists. Rinkside Live's immersive component is bringing views from its Coaching Cam and Training Room for figure skating that lets you see how skaters gear up for competition.

Hockey fans can choose the Bench Cam to peer into what goes down on the players' benches when something goes right -- or left. Tap into this feature while you stream live Olympics coverage on your phone, and if you watch Peacock on your TV and or the web, use multiview to catch these special angles while viewing.

Peacock's big rollout for the Winter Olympics also includes a set of video games on the app, including Prediction Games just for hockey and figure skating, a daily Olympics Picks game and Olympics trivia -- all will run from Jan. 24 to Feb. 23.

Planning to stream the Super Bowl on Peacock? Don't forget the platform already offers Catch Up with Key Plays and Live Actions feature to follow the game.
