Michael Keane and Jack Grealish were both sent off by rookie referee Thomas Kirk in crazy scenes at Hill Dickinson Stadium as Everton drew 1-1 with Wolves.

Keane was given his marching orders in the 83rd minute by Kirk, who was officiating just his second Premier League match, after being deemed to have pulled the hair of Wolves forward Tolu Arokodare as he challenged for the ball. With Kirk deeming the incident violent conduct after consulting with VAR, Keane now faces a three match ban.

Grealish was then sent off for a second booking in the 90th minute for a sarcastic reaction towards Kirk after he was awarded a free-kick. The on-loan winger will serve a one match ban after the incident.
