Hello and welcome to **football.london** for live coverage of Calum McFarlane's post-match press conference following Chelsea's 2-1 defeat against Fulham.
The Blues played the majority of the game with a man less after Marc Cucurella was shown a straight red card for pulling down Harry Wilson, who was through on goal. Fulham thought they took advantage of that just before half-time when Wilson fired past Robert Sanchez, but striker Raul Jimenez was adjudged to be offside in the build-up to the goal.
Jimenez, though, put Fulham ahead in the second-half with a brilliant header into the bottom corner. Liam Delap levelled with his first Premier League goal for Chelsea, but Wilson won the game for the hosts with a bit of magic on 81 minutes.
**Bobby Vincent** is in west London to hear from McFarlane, in what is likely to be his final press conference as interim head coach of Chelsea. Stay tuned for word-by-word updates.

> Because he's come in so late, we already did the prep so he left it to us. He's had some really encouraging words and been complimentary. He let us pick the team and tactics. He's been really respectful and trusting before he starts with his job tomorrow.
22:09Bobby Vincent
McFarlane: "As I'm aware, we're back with the Under-21s. I'd love to know their score, does anyone know?"
**Reporter**: "6-2"
**McFarlane**: "Okay."
22:08Bobby Vincent
> I'm not sure. Moaning about the referee's decision.
22:08Bobby Vincent
> We've had a lot of practice! It changes your plan in and out of possession. For the first 20 minutes, we were really aggressive with the press but that changes with 10 men. We had to defend our box and to wait for our moments. I thought we defended our box really well apart from a really high quality moment from Harry Wilson to win the game.
22:07Bobby Vincent
> I thought Liam was brilliant when he came on at the Etihad. Tough circumstances tonight being the single striker when you're down to 10 men. But he did well and got us up the pitch. I'm delighted he got his goal, he will take confidence from that and I hope his performances stay at this level.
22:06Bobby Vincent
> It's not a cultural issue, it's probably the feeling and emotion of the game. They let their emotions boil over, just like I did when I got a yellow card.
22:05Bobby Vincent
> There's been a lot made of the red cards this season. This red card happens in football. You get caught one-v-one. Harry Wilson is clever and he shows his quality. That red card is not a lack of discipline. The three yellows after is something we have to look at.
22:04Bobby Vincent
> Any red card affects the game massively. Really disappointed because we were starting to get into our rhythm so it came at a really bad time for us.
