Liam Rosenior has a big job on his hands at Chelsea after the Fulham showing, as that’s now no wins in the last five Premier League fixtures.
It was a game that will ultimately be talked about for the wrong reasons after Marc Cucurella’s red card for bringing down Harry Wilson early on in the game.
Chelsea simply has to improve their discipline, as it has cost them on numerous occasions this season.
This isn’t the first time that Chelsea have suffered with issues this season, either.
The Blues have already set an unwanted record by receiving five Premier League red cards in just 21 matches.

But, it wasn’t all doom and gloom for the Chelsea fans.
Liam Rosenior is the perfect profile for Chelsea
The only positive to take away from the game was the fact that Liam Rosenior wasn’t in charge at Craven Cottage, meaning it’s hopefully only up from here.
Before the clash with Fulham, the new Chelsea boss was seen taking photos and talking to supporters at the bottom of the away end, which isn’t something you normally see with a manager.

To get that up close and personal is a classy touch and perfectly encapsulates the type of man he is and why he has all the hallmarks of becoming a successful manager at Stamford Bridge.
He’s open and honest, which is what you need at a club like Chelsea.
And fact that Chelsea fans are furious at Behdad Eghbali shows the kind of feelings around the club right now, so having a man like Rosenior may just help ease some of those frustrations.
Easy wins Liam Rosenior can make at Chelsea
Chelsea is a side that cannot help but gift the opposition. They’re one of the worst in the Premier League for errors leading to shots due to high-risk passing from the back.
An immediate win by opting for more direct vertical passes into the half-spaces where Cole Palmer and Estevao Willian thrive.
Another would be improving the relationship with the club’s medical department, which is something that Chelsea sources claim was an issue under Maresca.
Lastly, the red card frenzy that Chelsea has had this season needs to stop. As previously mentioned, it’s the discipline and emotional maturity that have to be improved.
It’s something so simple, yet it could have saved the club 15 points this season.
