Tonight marks the second night of Wembanyama and the Spurs' back-to-back slate. They previously took a tough 105-104 loss against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Given the fact that Wembanyama will be playing, the Spurs are cautiously confident that he can perform amid knee issues. Wembanyama notably missed two consecutive games due to left knee hyperextension. Before that, he was out for 12 straight games because of calf issues.
This season, Wembanyama is averaging 24.6 points, 11.4 points, 3.4 assists and 2.8 blocks. He appeared in 22 games and must evade four or more absences, or he'll become ineligible for this season's individual awards.
