As both teams are dapping up each other in the postgame, Vanderbilt and Sochan had words with each other. Spurs star De'Aaron Fox came in and was trying to separate the Lakers forward.

In the process, Vanderbilt suddenly hit Sochan in the face. Julian Champagnie retaliated for his teammate and shoved Vanderbilt away.

Several Lakers and Spurs players had to separate Vanderbilt, Sochan and Champagnie before the situation could escalate further.

The Spurs prevailed with a dominant 107-91 victory, as Sochan dropped six points in 11 minutes. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt contributed four points in 19 minutes.

Both teams will face off one more time on Feb. 11 in the Crypto.com Arena.
