Liam Rosenior looked unimpressed with Chelsea attacker during defeat to Fulham

Liam Rosenior was given a preview of the job he has on his hands when he watched on from the stands as Chelsea were defeated by Fulham.

The Blues were the architects of their own downfall again after seeing Marc Cucurella sent off in the first half when the score was 0-0.

Raul Jimenez and Harry Wilson’s goals were enough to secure victory against the 10 men, despite Liam Delap scoring his first Premier League goal.

Who does Rosenior NEED to drop after that? 😬

Interim manager Calum McFarlane praised Delap after the game, however he will now hand the reins over to Rosenior for the upcoming FA Cup game against Charlton.

Liam Rosenior looked unhappy with Pedro Neto during Chelsea’s defeat to Fulham

The new Chelsea manager was seen interacting with Blues fans before the game, although cut a frustrated figure towards full-time as they were unable to find a second equaliser.

The Sky Sports cameras cut to his reaction after a Pedro Neto cross sailed out of play in added time, with Rosenior clearly unimpressed with what he had seen.

The Englishman was sat alongside Behdad Eghbali in the stands, and he gestured that he wasn’t impressed with the action that essentially saw the end of Chelsea’s chances of getting back into the game.

The amount of minutes Neto has played of late makes it unlikely that he will start in Rosenior’s first game in charge at the weekend.

Neto could be in trouble under Rosenior

Fulham boss Marco Silva actually praised Neto for his performance on Wednesday night, although Chelsea fans haven’t seen it the same way.

Neto could be in trouble now the new manager is in, with Estevao Willian waiting in the wings to make a serious impact at last.

The Portugal international is now seven Premier League games without a goal, six of those where he played all 90 minutes.

The Blues have clearly tried to protect Estevao, who is going to be a star, but need to realise his lack of minutes is costing them too much in the short term.
